Lauren Klein, MS, LAT, ATC, CES, is an athletic trainer, ultrarunner, and avid adventurer. She grew up a martial artist along her with her older brother and their dad, and spent the majority of her childhood in a dojo. She discovered her love for trail running in early high school, which quickly became her favorite part of the day, as well as a cherished weekend father-daughter activity.

Her love of movement and desire to understand the intricacies ultimately led her to pursue a career in sports medicine. As an athletic trainer, she has provided emergency and rehabilitative healthcare to a wide variety of athletes, including collegiate rugby players, Major League Baseball players, and ultrarunners.

After spending a few years traveling around the East Coast with professional baseball, she settled in Reno, NV. Since living in Reno, she has raced, volunteered at, and crewed for countless ultramarathons, including Broken Arrow, Mammoth Trail Fest, Run Rabbit Run, and Western States.

Lauren received her UESCA Ultrarunning Coach certification, and loves drawing from her experience as an athlete and applying her sports medicine background to creating custom training plans for ultrarunners of all levels.
